Hello,
I was reading the posts on usability and marketing, and I thought I would bring up the importance of writing when making web pages. Clarity of communication can make your page much better.
Big picture the goal should always be having: accuracy, brevity and clarity.
I think a great book on this topic is the Harvard Business Essentials: Business Communication.

It covers all the key points and has a great section on: Seeing you Company From the Other Persons Perspective.
This is the hardest thing to do but if you talk with enough clients and test your writing this is a very valuable skill.
