Circlepad is by far the best option I have found for building my small business website. I have tried templates, a Dreamweaver course, and quotes from web designers.
My goal was to start with a simple online presence, something like an online business card. Yet each of the previous options presented obstacles. The templates were too restrictive, the course was too complicated (for me); and the quotes were more than I could budget for a simple four-page site (more than $2500).
I then heard about Circlepad. It knocked over every obstacle that had been put in my way. For one, it allowed me to fully customize my site. I also felt comfortable using the software in the first hour of use. And, the cost was my time which I could afford to part with more than $2500. I hired an illustrator, got a few more illustrations from Shutterstock and still did not come close to spending $2500.
I would highly recommend Circlepad to any small business owner who wants to have a web presence, and who wants to have control over updates and changes on their site. Every time I use Circlepad my enthusiasm for it -as a small business web solution - grows.
