Hello,
First I must say that the ease of building a quality site with circlepad is phenomenal. I've been tinkering with a free account and I'm amazed with how easy it is to update and create a website using circlepad. I've been hesitant to upgrade to a full account because I'm looking for possibly having streaming audio, and perhaps an audio player of somekind to have on the site as I have been creating a website for a band where features of this kind are essential. Also a slideshow feature to rotate photos. www.ratm.com is the setup I'm going for and I didn't know if circlepad had features like this in mind or in development. Sorry to be so demanding, lol. Thank you for your time.

Hey Dav,

That's cool you requested audio, we are right in the middle of putting audio into CirclePad right now. We have a test version working so it should be on the main site really soon.

You can sort of do slide shows in CirclePad at the moment by loading animated gifs. But there's no control over the speed at the moment, they will play an animation well but won't work great for what you want. Audio will probably come in before this request but we are pretty close to having this feature so it shouldn't be to hard.

The site you linked to should be possible in the near future in CirclePad. Within the next few weeks we will have mouse overs come in as well.

Thanks for the kind words about editing in CirclePad. We take what we are doing very seriously, it is really important to us to make something great to use.

So watch the site in a few weeks there should be a big step towards what you want.

Ok we just put up all the new stuff tonight.

Since it was such a big change you will probably have to clear your history in the browser and refresh circlePad.

We have done alot of testing, but this a big change so let us know if you run into any bugs or problems.

We will add the new stuff to the help and add videos, ect but for the meantime I will post here a bit about it.

Audio - found on the left hand bar. Audio is also available on free sites. It works almost exactly the same as video and getting photos.

Mouse Overs - found under Animation > Mouse Overs. Mouse overs are really cool and amazing there are 1000's of effects that can be created using them, probably it will take a couple videos to explain just how cool it is. But here's a little example to start:

- Select a piece of text.
- Hit Animation > Mouse Over > Create.
- You will see the text twice. Once at the top showing what the text looks like when you have no mouse over, and another time at the bottom showing the mouse over.
- Select the text at the bottom and hit underline or change the color or something.
- Hit the "Exit" button at the top.

Now when you mouse over your text it will look like the text at the bottom.

The new version also includes groups under Edit Objects.

We just fixed on more detail on audio. CirclePad was sometimes loading the audio before the images on the page. Probably this is not what anyone wants, you really want to see image loads and know the page is ok before the music so now it's doing that properly.
