Images
You can load images from your computer using Get Stuff > Photo.
Once you have an image just drag and drop it around to place it.
Filters
CirclePad can add filters to images to change the look of the image. Open the filters menu with Tools > Edit:

A simple example of applying a filter is to make a picture brighter:

And then move the slider to make it brighter and darker.
Contrast will make the light parts of you photo brighter and the dark parts darker:

If your you want you image to look more dull and faded you can also lower the contrast.
Saturation can be used to make color more or less intense:

With color shift you can change all colors. In this example a red wall becomes orange by moving the color shift slider:

Blur will blur you image without blurring the border of the photo.

Note you can also blur the photo and the border of the photo with Tools > Edit Object > Add Effects > Blur.
You can also age a photo to make it look old in CirclePad:

You can use any combination of these techniques and remove them with "Remove Filters".
Framing Photos
CirclePad can frame you photos with different shapes. The first step is to open the Shapes with "Get Stuff" > New Shapes.

Next select a photo and click the shape you want to frame it with.

Next if you look at all the new sliders you can move them around to change the location and size of your frame.

Try some of the different shapes with your photo selected. It can make a big difference to how your photo looks.
